Exactly the feelings I came out of the theater with.

It's exciting, fun, action-packed, and sexy. Yet the classic Star Trek plots dealing with questions of science, ideals, and philosophy are lost at sea (or space). Reduced to slick effects and loud, tone-deaf musical scores. Not to mention entire canon being rewritten.

“Number 1, exhume Gene Roddenberry’s corpse, stat. Engage!”
